Many consider anger a normal human emotion and continue to allow themselves to be seduced by it. I suppose another way of saying that, although it's not my preference, is that many are "addicted" to anger and "think" that it is of some use in their lives. For instance, if you are one of those people who is seduced by anger, i.e. allows it to run your life either overtly or covertly (i.e. in the form of passive aggressive behaviors) you probably "think" that it is giving you a certain sense of control over others, control over your life, makes you feel that you are right or "in the right", makes your feel powerful, makes your feel superior, that it helps to protect you from getting hurt, allows the energy to assert yourself and therefore helps you to survive. Well if you are buying into a lot of what I just said then the anger should be making you feel better, happier, more in charge of your self and your life and hence you should feel better about yourself. Correct? If you allow yourself to actually experience what the state of anger actually feels like I think you will readily notice that you will feel most or all of the following: out of control of yourself, frustrated, bad, drained of energy, not taken seriously by others, your credibility being severely diminished, your self esteem being undermined and feelings of unhappiness. Additionally, the anger only elicits negative responses from others "towards you" that are likely going to undermine your sense of safety. In other words, the anger makes you feel more unsafe, NOT safer. It therefore is undermining your survival. So hopefully now that you see this contradiction, do you want to persist in "believing" that anger is good for you when in fact it is killing you? If not, and you wish to take the first step to releasing the anger from your bio-field and your body then here's what you can do. From deep within yourself, where ever you feel your Self to be inside of your body make the following two statements. 1. "It is my desire to purge the belief that anger helps to enhance or improve my life from my bio-field now and forever." 2. "It is my desire to purge all feelings of anger from my bio-field and from my body at every level forever." Now reflect on where you would like to be or how you'd like to feel without all of this inside of you and make a statement from within yourself to that effect. Now notice how you feel. If you were honest with yourself and followed the discussion you might be feeling some or all of the following: feelings of relief, lightness, peace, joy, energy, love, expansiveness and more enlightened. If you don't feel any of these and instead feel uncomfortable it means that for whatever reason you are continuing to harbor anger about something and are likely afraid to let it go. If this is where you feel most comfortable then I suppose that's where you have chosen to remain. Notice how that feels.
