Eph.4:20(KJV)
'For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.'
Eph.4:20(The Message)
'No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.'
No member of God's kingdom is destined to be 'unemployed' in his glorious service. All members of God's kingdom are God's workmanship. God's workmanship are those that are created by God in Christ Jesus for the sole purpose of joining him in the works that he does. To be part of this workmanship, one needs to sincerely repent of one's sins and humbly accept Jesus Christ as one's personal Lord and Saviour(John 1:12;2 Cor.5:17). Titus 3:5(KJV)
'Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;'
Outside Christ, one's 'good works' are actually 'dead' in God's sight! Such 'good works' are not good enough to save one from one's sins! James 2:18(KJV)
'Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.'
Good works are an evidence and a clear demonstration of one's faith in Christ even when one encounters one's 'enemies'. Matt.7:21-23(KJV)
'Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.'
'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?'
'And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'
Good works are not works that seem good in one's sight but they are works that are commanded by God as one is led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

1. The Power of The Positive
You and me... we can choose to be happy or not. We can choose to succeed or fail, scald, frown on or blame others. We can choose to complicate life or simplify it. There is no doubt the responsibility is ours. Abraham Lincoln once said, 'A man is just about as happy as he makes up his mind to be' and Dr Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra appear to agree. Both Dyer and Chopra say that we have, on average 60,000 to 62,000 thoughts each day. Around 4,000 of these are positive, the remainder are negativ…

2. Universal Meaning of Celtic Knotwork By Marek Sutherland
In the spring of 2003, I spent three weeks in the city of Chennai, formerly known as Madras, located in Southern India. Each morning, walking before the heat of the day, I was amazed to see intricate knot work patterns drawn out free hand with flour in front of the driveways and gates of homes. These artistic scrolls, I was told by an Indian friend, were offerings to local gods, and were part of a tradition that stretched back into the ancient past.I have seen knot patterns in my travels throu…

3. Pass It On - Sincerity is no Substitute for the Truth
Some advice works for some people while other advice is far more universal. Here is a piece of advice that covers everyone on earth at one time. It especially covers anyone who is seeking God, past, present or future. I don't know where this advice originated and I have heard variations of it over the last quarter century. It has a level of common sense to it that can't be argued against very easily by anyone. It does, however, create a formidable argument against the glibly spoken and oft repea…

4. God Loves You With the Love of God By Jeremy Hoover
Do you ever feel that what you read in some Christian books is not really God’s truth at all, but is merely the opinion of the writer, dressed up in the clothing of truth? Such books are merely imposters and are like the fig tree Jesus cursed—they look promising on the outside, but when you get up close, you find that they, like the fig tree, are barren, written for the glory of the writer and his or her ideas, not for the truth of God and his glory.Unfortunately, many sermons and teachings f…
